"Where? Over the door? Over the bed?" He'd bought three strings.

"Over the door, I think." Caidon kissed him and went back to stirring something.

"'kay." He sang good and loud, Caidon joining in for “Silent Night” and “O Holy Night”, too. It sounded good. They sounded good. Together. It was a fine thing.

There was a stack of presents under the baby tree -- tons of brightly-wrapped little odds and ends. He'd found strings and guitar picks, score sheets, little blank books, an alligator paw, and a bunch of warming, fruit-flavored lube.

He had no idea what Caidon had gotten him, but there were oddly-shaped miniature packages that weren't wrapped in his paper, and lots of them. It kinda made him bounce.

Caidon'd promised a jam session, too. Just the two of them playing for Christmas. He couldn't wait. They'd play Christmas music and not-Christmas music and all sorts of songs they'd been working on... It would rock.

"Can I have fudge, yet?" He'd really waited and waited.

"Yes." That grin told him that Caidon knew how good he'd been. Heck, they'd slept through breakfast, which was why they were waiting until after dinner to have presents.

"Oh, cool." They'd gone down to the market, to the little praline shop and bought fudge and pralines and chocolates.

Even Caidon admitted that he couldn't make fudge for shit. "Get me some, too, honey."

"Mmmhmm." He grabbed a piece of the dark, popped it in his mouth, and took another one for Caidon. "Coming!"

When he got over to the stove, Caidon bent and opened up for him, tongue waggling back and forth, making him bust out laughing again.

"Doofus." He popped the piece in, following it with a quick, hard kiss that made him a little sparkly behind the eyes.

"Me?" Muffled around the chocolate, Caidon's protest didn't do a whole lot in the way of convincing.

"Uh-huh. You you." He got to chuckling, tickled at the way Caidon was all glowing.

Licking chocolate off his lip, Caidon grinned over at him. "Well, I try."

He sorta leaned in himself, licking those lips, too.

"Jamie. I don't want to burn anything." One big hand patted his ass, thump-thump, and there was almost a good rhythm there.

"'kay. Just wanted a taste, huh?" He started humming, taking the riff and going with it.

"Mmm. A taste is good." Another kiss pressed against his mouth before Caidon turned and pulled a bunch of shit off the stove.

"You want me to clean off the little table?"

"Yeah, honey. That would be good. Turkey should be rested." Those eyes twinkled for him. "Who knew a bird had to rest?"

"Cooking tires it out, I guess." He swatted Caidon's ass.

"Something like that." Lord, but that man could shake it. Shake, shake, shake. Caidon's ass was kind of mesmerizing.

He started touching, tongue wetting his lips, over and over.

"Oh. Nice. Nothing will burn now..." Caidon pressed back into his hands, looking hot as fire.

"Yeah? I..." He knelt down, fingers still working.

"Uh-huh. We'll just heat stuff up." Long fingers worked over his head, his cheeks, Caidon loving on him.

"Sounds good. I want you, huh. Right now." Right here in the kitchen.

"Got me. Any way you want." Those hands went to Caidon's belt, unbuckling and opening those jeans.

Oh. Oh, hell yeah. He helped drag those tight jeans down, lips hot on the top of Caidon's crease.

"Babe. Honey. Jamie." He always knew he was on the right track when Caidon started losing that whole speech thing.

"I love that." He let his teeth scrape along that sensitive skin.

"Huh? Oh, there." He could feel all those muscles flex when Caidon went up on tip toe.

"When you say my name." He groaned and did it again, licking and laving and heading south.

Those heavy thighs spread, Caidon bracing for him. "I love that it's kind of mine, honey."

"All yours. Nobody else does. Ever."

"Oh, God." Bending, Caidon spread for him even more, giving him the tight hole and heavy balls. "Mine."

"Yeah." He could smell Caidon, so fine. He pushed close, licking that little hole.

"Uhn." Pushing back, Caidon begged for more with every move, that whole body on fire for him. He rubbed the strip of skin behind Caidon's balls, pushing and rubbing while he licked.

"Christ." Rocking, Caidon muttered curse words, love words, giving him everything. "Want you, Jamie."

  "Uh-huh. Right here?"

"Right now." Yeah. Even Caidon's voice was shaking.

"Thank God." He stood up, Caidon bending at the knee a little so he could reach. His. His. Damn.

"Come on, Jamie. Please." He could listen to that hitch in Caidon's voice forever. Every day.

"Yeah. Yeah, I got you, baby." He so did.

"You do. I swear. Love you."

Oh. Oh. God. That was... He caught himself nodding, agreeing with all he was. "Yeah. Yeah, Caidon."

He lined up and Caidon pushed back and down so the head of his cock could slide right in. Hot as fire, perfect, tight... He couldn't ask for more. He groaned, eyes rolling in their sockets as they started to move. In. Out. In. Damn. Good. Every motion was met with one from Caidon, that big body riding his cock, pushing back every time he pushed forward. Yeah. Hot. Slick. Perfect. He pulled Caidon back onto him, over and over, these deep cries leaving him with each thrust.

They stumbled forward a little, Caidon catching the edge of a cabinet, and suddenly he had twice the leverage. He could go twice as fast, his hips slapping Caidon's ass. There was a melody there, in the sounds of their skin meeting, in the way Caidon grunted and groaned. Something fast and happy and a little growly. Yeah. He could hear it. He thought maybe Caidon could, too.

  Fuck, he loved his life.

Spud reached around, fingers grabbing for Caidon's cock.

"Oh. God. Yeah. Please." Caidon grunted, trying to get more of his touch, pushing harder and harder.

"Good. So good. I got you." He so did, and he was going to keep a hold of it.

"Come on, Jamie. Close. So close." He could feel it in the squeeze of Caidon's muscles around him. Very close.

"Uh-huh. Gimme." He wanted to feel it, feel Caidon all around him.

He muttered something -- he wasn't sure what. Hell, he wasn't sure it mattered. All he cared about was shooting, letting the tension inside him go. Nodding, Caidon reached back to hold his hip, letting him know who was right there with him. His whole fucking world went white-hot and fuzzy, muscles bunching and rolling as he shot hard enough his teeth rattled.

"Yeah. Yeah, Jamie. Love." They both sort of lost their knees, sliding to the floor, his cock slipping free when they fell.

  "Uh-huh. Merry fucking Christmas, man."

"No shit, honey. No shit." Caidon leaned on him, kissing the corner of his mouth.

He leaned right back, nuzzling a little. This was just fucking perfect. Just what they needed.

  Something just theirs.

They'd had a fucking amazing holiday.

Caidon had a terrible case of nerves going back to the band, though. He had an announcement to make, even if he did know he would have to talk to each of the guys separately to make it. He and Spud, Jamie, they were officially a thing, now. A 'hands off, only me and him' thing. The rest of the guys were going to have to understand that before they ever got back on the bus.

Spud's hand was on the small of his back, fingers moving in circles. "Man, you ready to get back to it? I could've stayed in New Orleans for another month, easy."

"Shit, me too. I tell you what, honey. I was having a blast."

"Me too." Spud had the little fleur-de-lis charm on a necklace. The man hadn't taken it off since Christmas.

He grinned, leaning over to kiss Spud silly before they headed into the club where the band would be warming up. He needed that last touch. Spud just gave it up to him, fucking his lips with that hot little tongue. Goddamn.

br />   The rapping on the window broke them apart. Steve. Steve glaring. "You two ready to fucking work?"

"Sure. Jamie, honey, why don't you go in and set us up? We'll be in soon." Smiling, he jerked his head at Steve. "Need to talk to you a minute.”

"'kay, baby." Jamie was bouncing, looking about as fine as Caidon'd ever seen.

He watched that ass all the way in, noticing that Steve did, too. Caidon sighed, taking off his hat to rub his hand over his hair. "So. Spud and I made a decision on vacation, man."

"Yeah? What trouble are y'all up to?" Steve looked half pissed, half just tired.

"No trouble. Just, well, I got to tell you, Steve. We've decided to go exclusive. Just him and me, when it comes to sleeping arrangements." He felt bad for Steve out of all of them. Steve seemed to really like Spud.

"No shit? But... Shit, I'd've thought Spud would... Didn't he want to tell me himself, man?"

"I'm sure he will." What could he say? Caidon shrugged. "I just wanted you to know so you don't freak out on him."

"So y'all are... I mean, like, permanent steady? Joe ain't gonna like it. He broke up with that red-headed gal over the break." Steve pulled out a smoke, lit up.

Nodding, Caidon grabbed Steve's pack and lit one up of his own. "Doesn't surprise me. And yeah. Like permanent. You gonna work with that?"

"You gonna be pissed if I try to change his mind?"

A flash of pure rage surprised him, but Caidon pushed it down, trying to see where Steve was coming from. The man felt like he'd had Spud first, no doubt. "Guess that depends on what you do, man. I think he's pretty happy with what we've decided."

"And if he is, cool. I just want my chance, too. You took him away and got him all thinking. I ain't gonna go behind your back or nothing. I'm just..." Steve shrugged. "I'll just remind him I'm here, too."

He wanted to knock Steve's teeth out, but he clapped the man on the shoulder instead. "I don't blame you. He's worth fighting for, you know?"

Those sad eyes met his a second, then Steve nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm glad you know it, too. So, did you see any zombies in Louisiana?"

"Nope. We did have voodoo dolls on the Christmas tree, though." Feeling heavy as anything, Caidon ground out his smoke and headed in, pacing Steve step for step.

"Dude. That's cool. I went to see my Aunt Olivia. She had one of them trees that spin around and play music."

"No shit?" Oh, man. Next year. Spud would fucking love that.

"No shit. Drove her cats crazy." The rest of the guys were up there, tuning up. Joe looked like hammered shit.

Caidon shook his head, laughing a little. Spud had his guitar out on the stand, was tuning up another instrument. Smiling and humming. Damn.

"Hey, old man. You finally ready to get back to work?" Joe nodded over to him.

"I coulda stayed on vacation awhile." He grinned over, though, nodding to the rest of the guys. "I'll do."

"Cool. Spud says y'all had fun."

"We did." They'd had fun in every room, and sometimes on the streets. Bourbon Street was amazingly friendly on one end.

"Cool. Let's get this done. We've got to be in Dallas in the morning for a radio show, so we're driving all night."

"You got it." Well, looked like that was that, at least for now. Word would spread. Steve would try and fail.

Somehow or another, there was always another show to do.

Spud strapped the six-string on, cigarette dangling off his lip, and he got a wink, one of those secret smiles. Another show, another bus ride, but this time, he'd know where his Jamie was, every night.
